The challenge

Pulsewave was acquiring users almost entirely from paid social. CAC was climbing every quarter and there was no organic moat. They needed cheaper signups and a long-term channel.

What we did

  • Restructured the Meta Ads account into prospecting, retargeting and lookalike cohorts.
  • Built and shipped 24 SEO articles around personal finance and budgeting search intent.
  • Stood up an attribution model that distinguished branded from non-branded signups.
  • Launched a referral campaign with creator partnerships to lift organic share.

The result

Inside a year, blended CAC was down 41% and organic signups had grown 118%. Pulsewave hit 4.2x the baseline monthly signups and reduced reliance on paid from 92% to 58%.
